Integral Care received 1875 bus passes for three months from the Transit Empowerment Fund’s (TEF) Emergency Abbreviated Transit Pass program. TEF awards free and deeply discounted passes to nonprofits to assist in meeting the transportation needs of low-income clients. These passes help clients to build self-sufficiency by providing transportation for employment, social services, healthcare, and education. Award criteria includes low income, residence in the Capital Metro area, and the use of public transit. Targeted populations include people with disabilities, over the age of 65, people experiencing homelessness, Medicaid recipients, and veterans.
