NEW UNINSURED HOTLINE NUMBER:
People experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms (COVID-19) who are uninsured and do not have an established doctor should call the COVID-19 Hotline at 512-978-8775 for guidance.

COVID-19 is a coronavirus. Coronaviruses most commonly spread from an infected person to other people through:

  • Coughing, sneezing, talking and singing that releases microscopic drops of saliva into the air
  • Close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands
  • Touching an object or surface with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing your hands

THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT INFECTION IS TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID EXPOSURE TO THIS VIRUS, WHICH ARE SIMILAR TO HOW YOU PREVENT THE FLU:

    • Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth every time you leave home.
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
    • Stay home when you are sick.
    • Cover your cough with the inside of your elbow. Sneeze into your elbow. You can also use a tissue to cover your cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash
    • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Call Integral Care’s 24/7 Crisis Helpline at 512-472-HELP (4357). Our team provides around-the-clock crisis care. We’ll listen to you and support you without judgement.
  • Text TX to 741741 to connect to Crisis Text Line. Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7 crisis support via text.

  • Integral Care’s Chief Medical Officer is participating in an expert advisory panel of physicians to create guidelines for prevention strategies in our area.
  • Integral Care leadership meets daily to review COVID-19 updates and anticipate how this evolving situation may impact staff, clients and service delivery.

  • Integral Care is providing as many services as possible over telehealth and telephone in order to reduce chances of virus transmission. Where a face to face visit is necessary the following measures are in place:
    • Face Masks Required – All clients, visitors and staff must wear a mask. Please wear a mask when you arrive and at all times inside our clinics. Masks must cover your nose and mouth. We have a small supply of masks to give out. Please bring a mask from home if you can. Cloth masks are OK.
    • Visitors Limited – If you must bring someone with you, please limit it to only 1 family member or friend.
    • Health Screening Required – We are screening everyone for fever, cough, and shortness of breath before entering the clinic. If you have a fever of 99.6 or higher and/or other symptoms, you cannot enter the clinic. We will ask you to reschedule your appointment or have a telehealth appointment.
    • Infection Prevention – We clean and sanitize all waiting rooms, exam rooms and other care areas based on CDC rules. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers, tissues, hand soap and trash cans are available to you. We have also removed shared items like magazines and toys.
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Our staff will use PPE like masks and gowns at the levels set by the CDC.
    • Social Distancing – All staff, clients and visitors will practice social distancing. You may notice more space between yourself and others in waiting areas.
