Sarah Kuykendall

Integral Care
Sarah Kuykendall supervises Integral Care’s IDD Crisis Services. She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses as well as IDD. Her experience includes building collaborative relationships within the criminal justice system in order to improve outcomes for individuals with IDD. Sarah has a B.A. and an M.S. in Psychology.
Officer Ashley Uniszkiewicz, LMSW
Crisis Intervention Team
Austin Police Department
Officer Uniszkiewicz holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a LMSW in the state of Texas. She has served the Austin Police Department for 9 years, where she patrolled various parts of the city and is now a member of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Unit. Her experience as both an officer and a clinician provides her a unique perspective on the state of mental health and resources available in our community.
Deputy Chris Walsh
Mental Health Officer & Training Academy Instructor
Travis County Sheriff’s Office
For over 14 years, Deputy Walsh has served as a Mental Health Officer. He currently develops and directs education and training for all law-enforcement and civilian personnel at the Sheriff’s Office. He works closely with Integral Care and the Travis County Jail to provide law-enforcement training on engaging persons living with IDD and addressing mental illness within a jail setting.
