Marlene Buchanan, LPC is the Director of Systems of Care at Integral Care, overseeing the Adult Behavioral Health System, Child and Family Services, and our Housing and Homeless programs. She is a graduate of Auburn University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology. Marlene is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Prior to being the Director of Systems of Care, Marlene was the Director of Child and Family Services and the Practice Administrator of Substance Use Services at Integral Care. Throughout her career, Marlene has worked with the behavioral health and substance use population as a case worker, therapist, program supervisor, and director supervising several adult and youth forensic, crisis, and intensive teams which specialized in co-occurring substance use and behavioral health disorders. Marlene has worked in community mental health for over 15 years is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals served.
